I have been playing online games for a fair number of years now going back to Ultima Online and Diablo 1. Currently I have been playing World of Warcraft and City of Heroes/Villains. I quit playing WoW the other day after 3 1/2 years and am just kind of limping along in CoH/CoV after 4 1/2 years.
After the disaster D&D Online was and the super buggy Age of Conan (both of which sadly i paid to play), I am a little cautious about getting into a new one.
I have been looking seriously at Champions Online <<link>>. Looks like a good follow up game for CoH/CoV. Made by the same company so it should be good.
I have also be waiting for Diablo 3 and DC Universe Online. I have been out of things for a while (reading articles and the like) and am curious if you guys know of another online game that you are looking forward to (so that I may read about it).
Yes I know XBox, PS3, Wii and other console systems play online games, and I know games like Counter Strike on the PC are online, i am mostly looking for MMORPGs here _________________

Haven't played online games since Diablo 2 (gave up after I lost my Level 84 hardcore assassin to the network lag monster) and Guild Wars (too many add-ins that you have to buy and not enough co-operative players ).

I only play WoW on a free (private) server now after 3 years of retail.
Couldn't get to like any other mmorph. _________________ SAVE THE WHALES. Collect the whole set.

Anyone giving Aion a go in early September? I am in its beta, not bad so far. _________________

I played the Aion beta over the weekend it was a lot of fun, at least up to lvl 10 anyway. I forced myself to slow down and take in the scenery because it's just so beautiful. I liked that there's a main story line for your character. I found myself actually wanting to read the quest text to follow along; certainly a different experience from WoW and WAR.
I'm anxiously following the forums on www.aionsource.com. _________________
