Maybe the next challenge. I am getting hooked on the project(s) of the month. I have limited shrubbing potential.... _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

What a horrible choice for a project.
They have no 64 bit Linux or 64 bit Windoze apps,
which means I cannot use 11 of my 13 machines...

Never thought of that...thanks for thinking 'out of the box'... |
I've got VMWare & Windoze on all my Linux boxes, but the overhead sucks-
You have to run XWindows to have VMWare work, so you have 2 extra levels of support tasks running.. Kind of over-rides to advantages of a nice clean O/S. _________________

Try vmware ESXi.
You can download it for free and the overhead is low.

I just realized how close we are to Ars Technica!
Their average is around 8800, and ours is about 8100
I'd bet we'll bump up the RAC and start whittlin' away at their 1.8M total
(We have only 1.14M)

That might be doable given our performance in past PoTM _________________
