With the removal of D2OL and TSC from the vault we have jumped down to 12th in biology in the vault. 1000 points would put is in 5th again so it is quite tight.

We need some points in the following:

Docking
Genlife
GPU Grid (we need this one the most)
Poem (teehee - they's a comin!)
Superlink (just leave it on a few cores in boinc, it doesn't get work for extended periods so just snag it when ya can)

We could use some points if feasible in:

Simap
Lattice

The preceding has been a public service announcement from the new American Express Card System of the USSA.

DON'T LEAVE HOME!

GPUGrid is saying my PC doesn't have CUDA or something or other, any hints on what to do?

I have 3 brand new PC's and I don't know how to find my video card.
2 PC's are duo core and one is just a small 1 g machine.

right click the desktop, choose "Properties" / "Settings" On XP
on Vista Right click the desktop, choose "Personalise" / "Display Settings"

you are looking for the Display adapter. It could be "Onboard Video" That means it is on the Motherboard. In which case you can't participate without spending Money....

My loft PC Graphic Cards is
VIA Chrome 9 HCIGP Family
S3 Graphics Co. LTD

Does that help?

MNy 1 g PC has a Nvidia card, I will need to see what the gforce???? is.
I will check the basement PC when I go down there.

The first floor PC has a GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 with 512 MB of RAM

This PC only has 1 G . Do I need to update the driver?

I don't know what 1G is but the 6150 is not sufficient.

You will need to buy a Video card if you want to participate in Cuda.
You can get a fairly decent one for $150.00 USD
You can get a Top of the Line for about $600.00 USD

Make sure you have a Pci Express 16x slot, Not AGP.....

It's the big Red one in this picture

I think I will stick with World Community Grid, POEM@home, Rosetta@Home and Docking.

I will leave the CPUGrid alone for now. I bought all these PC's the last part of 2008 and had the 2 built and bought the 1G EMachine for my bedroom for me to read my boards and play POGO.

World Community won't run on my newest PC. Not sure whats wrong.
