My guess is that you're aware of all of this, and for other folks that might not be (especially since this project was being considered for POTM):
The trick with Milkyway is getting enough shrubs to shrub. Last I knew they were working on their supply problems, and I was having a lot less trouble in that regard by the time I switched pretty much everything over to Poem (POTM). I even did that on my CLI-only linux server, which is quite a PITA. Frankly I'm hoping to pass one or more Knights on that project before the month is up.
One thing they were working on was creating a parallel project just for GPUs, with shrubs that take literally about 100 times longer to shrub, so their server won't be so inundated with requests for new work, and us CPU-only folk might have better shrub availability.
In any case, here's hoping that they have enough shrubs to keep that monster GPU well-fed, and KWSN well represented!
BTW, it looks like I'm approximately a month out from my first million. _________________

Wow! No kidding! That is just fantastic, sir Brian!
BTW, I just took a look at your sig. It's a hoot how low your BS RAC is on Poem. _________________

Ni,

Gee, Sir Tux - with all that hardware, I can't imagine it will take you long to hit that million. My very best shrubber is likely pretty close to your slowest Intel (maybe a bit faster on some things, but not much). Meanwhile, you have all those quads, of which I have none. The apparent 4 CPU boxes I have are Intel P4 Xeons (with HT)
I am surprised that your RAC is that low on SETI. Are you running optimized apps (they REALLY fly on Intel SSE3)? With all those new Intel boxes, I should think that would be a lot higher. Of course, I don't know what kind of resource share you're running on that project.
I did notice that you were flat pulling away from me on Poem, with no chance of my catching you. I frankly think that's great, because it means you are able to contribute more to our team standing, which is my main goal for POTM.
Anyway, even with my modest farm, it looks like I will be getting there some time this month. I can't imagine that it will take you near as long as it took me (which is a good thing). _________________

That's the debate I'm having with myself. Are you better off getting 3 of these http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0306009 or spending at least the same amount to build a machine that you can stick 3 PCI(e) video cards in? _________________
