Thank you all!

Lady K has been reformatting the hard drive of her computer and reinstalling her operating system, (xp pro of course haven't been brave enough to upgrade), and all of her systems.

I tried to repair, but nothing would work, so I gave up and after 5 hours I have the thing running, and it's so fast I can't believe it's my computer. I did upgrade the memory a while ago, but I guess this puppy was just getting bogged down, and I didn't know it. Then the system crashed when an update from microsoft was being installed, (typical), I tried to fix, tried to restore from backups, no go. At least I keep all my important files on external drives.

Anyway, took the day off, got my hair done, got takeout for dinner, (Bankock Kitchen, a whole in the wall with the best Thai food in the area), and fixed my computer. Now if we could just get the child to bed, my husband and I might be able to try to do adult things..... nudge nudge, wink wink, but I fear I"m going to fall asleep as I've been up since 6:45 am and am starting to wind down, although I did have a 8pm cup of coffee. Wish me luck!
