Please vote for the project that you prefer for Project of The Month from the list above. The concept is KWSN members should allocate as many crunching assets to that project as feasible during the month of March. Or at least crunch a few work units!

Feel free to pimp your choice in this thread and negotiate or bribe as necessary. The choices are ordered roughly in order of team points, see KWSN team stats in my sig. I tried to eliminate dead projects or those with only intermittent work.

March 1 is Sunday one week from today.... I think we should announce the winner early Saturday in case folks want to transition to the new project a few hours before February ends...

I think we should also consider Eon, Muon and Ufluids for March.

Since Milky's betrayal I am searching for a new project to Invest heavily in Cool

The "hottest" vault project right now is GIMPS, there we can get the most vault points for crunching, but since it's not a BOINC project, I don't think you'll be interested Rolling Eyes

We can get better at POEM/Docking/Superlink(When they have WU)... #ni-1

Speaking of Bang for the Buck.... What is the best projet for Credit Hos? Boinc project, that is. I have nothing but 32 bit PCs, so 64 bit is not happening.

I believe AQUA is the best project, if you can afford running them WU till they finish without restarting the computer, as checkpoints are not implemented yet... #ni-1

If you have 64 bit Linux (it might be available for 64-bit windows), Primegrid is the best bang for credit hos. The AP26 subproject.

Yep, looooong WU, but once all of us will get credit for it, that will be the day we'll probably move to be back in the mysterious place between 3 and 5... Razz

Hey Papa, I don't know if you're still running MW but, If you're running any quads with the optimized client your RAC will increase. It's because Travis did away with the speed limit so to speak. Before you were crunching alot that you never got any credit for. This is my quad and the RAC is still going up.It is OC'd to 3.15 Ghz though. Wink #ni-1

I'd love to see us run Aqua, but they don't have any WU's available and their week of maintenance has now stretched into just over two weeks. #Mad

I'd like to see us run something else next month, too, and SHA-1 is one of my regular projects. What project is going to help us move up in the vault?

Did we get a lot of 'New' members, perhaps placing Votes?

There was not one SHA-1 as I recall... ABC was in the lead this morning...

Admins may want to enlighten us... Or bribe us...

I think the admins should consider the possibility of making a KWSN group only for KWSN members, create some kind of POTM forum only for KWSN group members or changing the KWSN BOINC'ers forum access only to the KWSN group and we'll do our votes there where only KWSN members would be able to vote...
