KWSN Project Statistics for Saturday, January 17, 2009 @ 01:57 EST (Edited @ 14:45)
Now with:
1) Rank, Credit, and RAC ^v for team projects
2) Credit and RAC ^v for individuals
3) Links for Milestones.
Notes:
1) We had a problem with the display on M$ Internet Exploder, that has now been corrected I believe.
Coming tomorrow:
1) Member rank changes within projects (limited to the first 20 position changes found, starting from the top of the list), to be shown as:
*>> User X, New Rank= 2 (up 1)
*>> User Y, New Rank= 3 (down 1)
Funny Stat for the day: KWSN-Dagger is the first Team Member in the top of any category to show up in BoincStats. UID= 6535.
To give you an idea, the latest to show up has UID=1869580. Think about it: over a million and a half users have joined Boinc while he has been running it. _________________

Something strange just happened. I clicked on the link posted and the stats page started to load then IE froze. I got a pop up message that a script running on the page was causing IE to run slowly and may cause it to become unresponsive. I stoped the script from running and everything seemed to be OK. _________________

What's that IE thingie, some off-brand, bargain basement browser or something? Never heard of it! Works fine with FireFox and Safari. Don't want to infect my computer will junk, so I can't install it.
Seriously- Has anyone else seen this problem? It sounds like Windoze is trying to help you out by pre-loading all the images (whether it needs to or not). That is sort of like loading all the web pages that have links in case you might want to click on them.
What version of BG's crap are you running by the way? _________________

IE 7.0.5730.11
This is the first time it's done this on the stats page. I've visited it many times in the past. I did do a windows update the 15th. after I checked stats. They were.... Windows XP Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - January 2009 (KB890830) Thursday, January 15, 2009 Microsoft Update
Windows XP Security Update for Windows XP (KB958687) Thursday, January 15, 2009 Microsoft Update
I just checked my other computer with XP Prox64 running the same version of IE as Phreddy and I get the same message. It was updated at the same time with the 64 bit version of the same updates. _________________

I'm getting the error here too
IE 7.0.6001.18000 with Kaspersky Security 7.0.0.124 running on Vista Ultimate SP1 32 bit
When I killed the unresponsive IE window it took out all my other browser windows...
Was all working fine a couple of days ago (when I commented on the mouse overs).

My XP Home Edition machine has Nortons Internet Security 2009 and the XP Pro x64 is Avast. So I don't think it has anything to do with the AV or the OS. _________________

Could you check your updates and see if you got the same ones I got on my machines ?
Mine didn't kill any windows. When I click on the link to the stats it opens in a new window. When I killed the script I was able to view the stats page. Nothing really looked out of the ordinary. _________________

Ok, Windoze Internet Exploder users try it again.
I changed a couple of flags that appear to correct the problem (at least on my machine).
MC
PS- I had to screw around with IE (XP Pro X64) for about 10 minutes to even get it to work properly.. WHAT A PIECE OF S***. Do yourself a favor, change over to Firefox w/NoScript, a much better setup. _________________

I made a request a few days ago, and it seemed to be ignored. So I request again.
When the stats were in the Forums, we had the ability to see history. Now that it's on a static web page, there is nor history. Can history be made? Maybe a weeks with, then monthly, or something like that? It doesn't have to be too extravagant.
Just an idea. _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)

I haven't been ignoring you, I have just been trying to figure out how to do it. The web pages are only 275Kb, so keeping a few of them is not a problem. The main problems are:
1) Doing the site maintenance, ie- remove after x days.
2) Choosing pages names and creating links between them, and/or an overall index.
3) Automating 1 & 2 (the point of this is to avoid a lot of "touches". _________________

I knew it had it's work to be done. I am patient. Just was hoping it was being thought about.
You have done an awesome job, so far. It's just amazing how quickly you build such an extravagant set of daily stats.
Thank you for all your hard work. _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)
