My son won't let me borg his because it makes his games run slower...or so he reckons. Rolling Eyes

I have Folding on the computer that my daughter is using but she keeps turning it off. Rolling Eyes

I'm looking forward to getting the 'spare' up and running again, although I think my daughter is going to take that one back, and my son is going to use the older one as a fiddle-around with, pull-apart, put-back-together one. Kids! The older they are, the more expensive they get.

Install it on your son's comp and then on both

Go to Advanced,
Preferences,
Processor Usage,
Un-check "While computer is in use"

The default position is "only after computer has been Idle for 3:00 minutes"

There is no reason for them to complain then.

If they ain't on it but it's still using your power, then It's yours #Robot

You don't know our sys admin. I am lucky I am able to shrub on my pc, forget the other machines. Most of them are a bunch of nuckle draggers that couldn't find there nose if they didn't already have a knuckle or 3 buried up there already.

They are a group that looks to lay blame of everything on everyone else (including the lack of backups - one of their prime responsibilities. I have personally pulled their posteriors out of the fire on that a few times).

Rule 1 here is to not draw attention to yourself. Rule 2 is to read rule 1 again.

We don't have a T1 line here. We have a T3. It is not configured correctly.

Couple that with the fact we are a 24x7 operation (data to and from other agencies and the occassional off site backup). There is really not too much down time here.
