Congratulations to zed, the discoverer of PrimeGrid's first prime for 2009 in the Proth Prime Search project: 15*2^483098+1. Unfortunately, it was just a double check. The first "new" prime of 2009 was found by Vato, again from the Proth Prime Search project: (waiting to be reported).
