New BOINC project, looks like another math one with AQUA@Home.
http://aqua.dwavesys.com/index.php is the website, I have already created a KWSN team. Can someone please join it, I saw a new feature on the team creating page and I do not know what it does.

I'm in. I'll let it shrub over the weekend and see how the credit goes. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

Credit is low. I ran one unit on my quad. It ran for 2614.94 seconds and granted 18.97
For a work unit that ran at SETI for 2417.88 seconds the same computer was granted 45.25
Since SETI seems to be the guide now as far as credits are granted I would say that Aqua has some adjusting that needs to be done. _________________

I will at least contribute on this PC for the weekend and adjust my work output from there. If they adjust up (soon hopefully), I may spread it to the rest of my shrubbers (the other 2) since the WUs are not too big. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

It seems to be about the same credit/second as Sudoko
Both are around .007 credits per second
Seti is .017 credits per second.
and Milky is .0101. _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

Don't forget now...
Their crunching application doesn't have the ability to checkpoint the WU every once in a while like other projects do.
Therefor, if you suspend the BOINC client, or shut down the application while it's crunching in some other way (Restarting the computer, throwing computer out of the window, computer bursts in flames etc....) the WU will be lost and will be sent as calculation error or something like that.... _________________ Anyone for Crunch?
