I don't know how many here were following the Blossom Goodchild/Federation of Light story recently about the giant ufo that was going to 'show' itself earlier this month. It turned out to be crap...as these things usually are...but the thing that struck me, from lurking at various message boards etc, was how many people truly believed it and complained of headaches and other symptoms that indicated that it was going to happen. The mind can be so impressionable when it is bombarded with information, good or bad. I have experienced something like this myself, but it was years ago and a long story. Let's just say that sometimes people are vulnerable to things, especially when they are looking for something that is going to change their life. Anyway, the Blossom Goodchild/Federation of Light stuff was interesting to read as an outsider looking in, and I do believe that the woman really did believe that it was going to happen.
Okay getting back on track here (yes, I do tend to ramble at times lol) just found this interesting article about ufos that were captured on video in Turkey. There is a video on the page and it is quite convincing.
Is it true? No idea. Could be some kind of stealth aircraft.

Here's the link if anyone wants to check it out -

Hm. If they really are ufos why isn't SETI picking up the signals?

The UFO didn't show? Maybe they got lost. They need a GPS.

I think SETI didn't pick up the signal because (here is SETI's big weakness) wrong frequency.

I do not believe in UFO. I had never seen like UFO. If I will see than I definitely believe it. I think people are watching our satellites. I don't think that UFO exists. There are no frequency problem.

John beat me to the reply....

I think that Seti may very well be limiting itself to a frequency that may not be used...

Actually, If you are going to try to communicate long distances there is probably a better way out there that current technology doesn't take into account.

That may very well be the "bar" that we have to reach in order to be worthy of talking to......

As far as UFO's, I consider it unlikely....
Seriously when you look at the Human history of what happens when a more advanced society happens upon a more "primitive" society, Then I think we should be very careful about sending signals out to the unknown "Welcoming" visitors Shocked
