Jack Wheeler is a brilliant man who was the author of Reagan's strategy to break the back of the Soviet Union with the star wars race and expose their inner weakness. For years he wrote a weekly intelligence update that was extremely interesting and well structured and informative. He consults(ed) with several mega corporations on global trends and the future, etc. He is in semi-retirement now. He is a true patriot with a no-nonsense approach to everything. He is also a somewhat well-known mountain climber and adventurer.

The O-man, Barack Hussein Obama, is an eloquently tailored empty suit. No resume, no accomplishments, no experience, no original ideas, no understanding of how the economy works, no understanding of how the world works, no balls, nothing but abstract, empty rhetoric devoid of real substance.

He has no real identity. He is half-white, which he rejects. The rest of him is mostly Arab, which he hides but is disclosed by his non-African Arabic surname and his Arabic first and middle names as a way to triply proclaim his Arabic parentage to people in Kenya. Only a small part of him is African Black from his Luo grandmother, which he pretends he is exclusively.

What he isn't, not a genetic drop of, is 'African-American,' the descendant of enslaved Africans brought to America chained in slave ships. He hasn't a single ancestor who was a slave. Instead, his Arab ancestors were slave owners. Slave-trading was the main Arab business in East Africa for centuries until the British ended it.

Let that sink in: Obama is not the descendant of slaves; he is the descendant of slave owners. Thus he makes the perfect Liberal Messiah.

It's something Hillary doesn't understand - how some complete neophyte came out of the blue and stole the Dem nomination from her. Obamamania is beyond politics and reason. It is a true religious cult, whose adherents reject Christianity yet still believe in Original Sin, transferring it from the evil of being human to the evil of being white.

Thus Obama has become the white liberals' Christ, offering absolution from the Sin of Being White. There is no reason or logic behind it, no faults or flaws of his can diminish it, no arguments Hillary could make of any kind can be effective against it. The absurdity of Hypocrisy Clothed In Human Flesh being their Savior is all the more cause for liberals to worship him: Credo quia absurdum, I believe it because it is absurd.

Thank heavens that the voting majority of Americans remain Christian and are in no desperate need of a phony savior.

His candidacy is ridiculous and should not be taken seriously by any thinking American.

It is my personal view that the term "Smaller Government" is code for ending the entitlement programs in this country like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid & Unemployment benefits.

Code words like "Family Values" & Strict Literalistic Supreme Court Justices" are used to appeal to the Republican base without making clear to the country exactly the policies are. They mean usually one thing to some and another thing to another but they have much broader actual meanings.

If one of the main goals of the Conservative movement was to De-fund the American government so that the New Deal, Fair Deal and The Great Society must be abandoned and we can go back to a time without any Social Safety Nets then the Bush Administration has been a great success.

Bush claimed to be a "Compassionate Conservative"

He also claimed to be a "Born again Conservative"

He claimed that he would have a "Conservative Foreign Policy" as well.

Alright, I may have been wrong that he claimed to be a conserative, but you cant do what he did with the drug program and quality as a conserative.

Not that it matters to me anyway, i dont claim either major political party, im with a smaller group, in the corner, tossing popcorn at the two big parties!

The next President will be Barack Obama, However lets say that neither the candidates are there and I can choose anyone...

I would be happy with Joe Biden, He has been in Government for a long time and he knows not only where the levers of government are but how to use them as well, and I believe that he is a fundamentally Good Man.

I also like Dennis Kucinich. He is likely not electable for a variety of reasons but I think he is not a Power hungry guy and has the interests of people like me in mind. not to mention his wife is a Hottie Very Happy

There was an article in the The Times this week that claimed that where white people asked for their voting preferences, when there were both black and white candidates standing, lied.
They didn't want to seem to be racist.
The article quoted references to a New York mayoral election (I've forgotten names, I'm sorry).
The black candidate had a big lead in the polls but he lost.
I might bet on McCain.

It is called the Wilder Effect. Douglas Wilder was running for Governor of Virginia and the polls had him leading by double digits and he ended up winning by 1%.

The theory is that White people don't wish to appear racist to pollsters and answer differently than when they vote.

But he did win Smile
