I'm running 2 clients and they both have the same Node #. I want to attach the node that is not being used now. I had to delete D2OL off my slower PC as it caused it to crash too many times.
206936 is running on both. How do I put the 206935 on one of the clients that's running the same 206936 node?

This is the answer I got from Adam at D2OL, but no explanation of how to do this, does anyone know?
Quote: | Greetings,
You should be able to copy the node.prp file from the desired node to the new client installation. When you start up the program again, you should be running on the same node.
Let me know if you need more help.
Thank you,
Adam Hughes

Sounds like you just need to istall the program on the new computer, then go back to the old one and copy THAT FILE, 'node.prp', (to a diskette maybe?) from the old PC to the new one. Startup the new PC running the program (and reading the file you just copied) and you're probably 'Good To Go!'

I removed it completely from the old PC, so I can't retrieve it. I will delete one from the new PC and and re-install and attach that node.
Maybe that'll work, I'll give it a whirl. _________________ Don't fuss about growing older, many are denied the chance. |
