That's all you get? I'd be jumping for joy if I got that much. Laughing

I'm paying $79.95 (aussie) a month for 25Gb. That's for up and down, and then our speed is slowed down to almost dial-up when we reach that limit.
Only another 12 months left on the 2yr plan, then I can shop around for a different deal. Rolling Eyes I signed up for that because we got it half price for the first few months.

Comcast booted me for a year because of MJ12. They asked me to cut back and I did. By half, but they called back in about 3 weeks and said it wasn't enough and I was suspended for a year. I told them to cut the cable to the tv too. I wasn't going to be paying them a dime since they couldn't tell me how much I needed to cut back on the bandwidth. #Mad

Or FiOS 20/5...

On a serious note though, is that an old BW spec, or a lower end. Thought 10/2 was the new bottom. Yeah

http://www22.verizon.com/content/consumerfios/packages+and+prices/packages+and+prices.htm

OK, here's the deal. Basically their BW packages have been upped, but, existing customers do not get the free upgrade unless they ask. What's more, if you call in, their support dept is forbidden from mentioning that you can get an upgrade. You need to know there are new packages and make the inquiry yourself. But after you mention it; then they are required allow you under the new BW. Otherwise, they'll wait until your current contract ends and you have an option to renew, to inform you the new bandwidth brackets had been put in place.

However, the possible downside depending on what you want, you extend your contract in doing so.... Upside, at your current fee, you get better BW. I moved a month ago, so fall under the new contract and speeds...

Band Width is not the problem, its total amount used. I had a 6meg connection and I could up it to a 10 or even 15 meg Download. but my use was slowing down everyone else in the neighborhood.
