I do not know if this reached the news, but Northern California, where I lived, got rocked by a major storm yesterday. Big rigs were literally being blown off the road, they had to close some bridges in the San Francisco area. I did not lose power, but I lost my high-speed connection, but thankfully the dial-up still works so I am not toally internet deprived. Also part of the back fence blew over, lots of flooding, trees down and power lines as well.

I hope everything else is ok. I'm glad you are safe. At least you had the dialup.

I had heard about it and planned to read about it in the paper today.......but the newspaper that I read had a fire in their printing building last night and there were no papers today.

Glad you're okay.

England almost seized up over something called snow the other day but from the pictures I've seen over the past few months what we have is nothing compared to the batterings caused by the ice storms etc.
