I find that I'm really getting into the Christmas spirit.

No, Al, start again.

I find that the Christmas spirits are really getting into me.

What I need right now is a rollicking good taunting session.

So, Who, What, Where, When, Why, How.

Come on Guys & Gals; there MUST be some agglomeration of poor, unsuspecting, souls out there who thoroughly deserve a taste of the combined acerbic wit and blustering, worthless, knees-bent-running-backwards bragging that we are collectively famed for, but have not put into practice for many a long day.

Suggestions, please, on a postcard, to arrive no later than the weekend. (Carrier pigeon post will also be accepted, as long as they've been de-pooped.)

well we did pass MacNN last year at about this time and as I recall we could not taunt them. Or if we did they did not care. I was thinking about AMD abusers but they are #1 in cosmo and running at 3 times our rac. ( looks like they know where the points are )

Seti Usa is a possibility, in tsp, only if we somehow put a stop to DR. Dan T. Morris.

With the acquisition of a rather large group of Folders from another team mabey that would present you with the Tauntation Sensation you are looking for. You would have to check with them regarding the "Charlie the Tuna" factor of that I would think.

Didn't we try to go after General Mayhem and you had to pay or something to join their forums. Or else we found them more insane than me.

We could what we did many years ago and build a spare-parts machine for BOINC. Some crazy Knights either donate spare parts or a few dollars and a computer building savvy member builds that machine and just uses it for BOINC.

Those go a lot unless you can steal one or claim it has been decomissioned.

Yes, but we are talking terraflops right?

From the Cray website sales page
Quote:
High performance interconnect and memory subsystems allowed the Cray X1E system to scale from 16 to 8,192 processors, delivering up to 147 TFLOPS in a single system.

Btw: it is AMD

Right then , we need Mr Snrub and O'Farty on the tanut front .
Some thing like Travelling Sales Man on the project front , complete with a HUGE production surge to push KWSN to number one worldwide in that Boinc project before Xmas .
Errm a team to taunt Rolling Eyes . Mayhem is rubbish at it , they just don't wanna play .
Teans that play the "Taunt" game are (from memory) :
Picard
Kows
Ninja
Little White Dog (See taunts gone bad Vol 7 Shocked Shocked )

Kows is best taunt fun EVER .

A new team to tant - Xtreame anyone ?

Just some thoughts

I'm not religious at all but I love Christmas and I think it is about loving and giving, tolerance and forgiveness.
I won't taunt anybody until the new year and I ask everybody else to do likewise.
Please, get with the spirit.

I may have a soulution...one of my neighbors offered to give me their used desktop as a "project pc" I could beef it up a bit and use it as a
dedicated system for BONIC.

Just a random idea.....

We love to taunt them, giving them the chance to defend themselves and we are tolerant enough to forgive them if they beat us. Well sometimes anyway #ni-1
We meet the criteria so lets choose a worthwhile target

The best taunts are when we are taunting the teams that we can't possibly beat in a million years! Now that's what I call looney.

#ni-1

Okay, I've gotta say this....Sir Fart and Sir Cod are the gods of taunting to me. Sir Fart's insults are truly a work of literary genius Confused , and Sir Cod's....piece....is enough to make even the bravest adversary take hold of his/her nether regions and run away screaming like a frightened goat.
