I noticed a 1760 pointer went the way of the of my old team this evening and I'm not the only one, BG did the same. Worse still, BC and JW both made 6k donations at the same time! I've checked my clients and they're all set to team 117, it's a mystery! 16k points given away in one evening, we shouldn't be making a habit of this lads _________________ 50 cores - 147 GHz - surely now over 1.0 mpm??? |

These are probably units that were sent to a collection server (instead of the issuing server) some time ago and have only just been credited. Stanford also do housekeeping periodically that can pick up uncredited work.
I've seen unexpected spikes in the past because of this...

That would explain why in the distant past I got 50k in a day, when I knew I could only produce 25k.
Thanks for resolving an issue that has been bugging me for a while.

A mystery no longer, thanks Sir Furry Mark! That job must have been submitted 3-4 weeks ago or more!
