Guess what! My son and I got rid of Vista on this one and did put XP on it. I had to put extra ram in it a few weeks ago because Vista was using a lot of juice, so it's really flying through the eon wu's now. Yay!
As for the bandwidth, we're on go-slow at the moment. We've got nice fast broadband up until 12 Gb download/upload is reached, then it goes splat! until the new billing month starts again. Should only be another couple of days to run faster again.
It's amazing how quickly you reach 12 Gb when you have a son downloading music, a daughter watching you tube videos, and a mother shrubbing.

I'm not sure but I think you could go your whole life Shrubbing and not reach 12Gb. Not including MJ12.

Thanks, I was in about a month ago then I got knocked out now I am back. Of course there are a number of hard charging kNIghts that are about to flatten me again and push me right back out again.

In case you hadn't noticed I had conceded eon to Michelle, and now you apparently.
Good Show! I say to you!
If you watch closely, you will see a decline in my eon #'s for the next week and a half as I take some days of from work and cause a particular shrubber to stop eon to concentrate on BOINC for that time period.

Not being familiar with this project or any other project unless it is easy and painless to set up - I normally use BOINC.
I am coming up on 2 mill in RCN and some of these old boat anchors will be needing something to work on.
But, could someone point me in the general direction of EON - I might like to give it a try,
and if SETI.USA does not have a team there, I might just have to join your round table.

I do not see a SETI.USA team so Welcome!!
Shrubs usually take 30 secs. per and they have a habit of lots of downtime. So it helps to rum multi instances. Just change for a separate dir per each instance. It runs nicely with BOINC and Majestic12 and Dimes concurrently.

if you login from the link in the main page you are given the option to join a team...usiing the dropdown and clicking the button of the left of the page...
