Hi,
from the main page find the 'Teams' link under the Returning Participants heading. Click that and then type 'knights' into the key words text box and press the Search button.
That should bring up the team as a hypertext link. If you click it you'll get another link allowing you to join the team.

How would you feel about me pushing for inclusion in the DC-Vault, which would almost certainly result in a big surge in interest?
I'm contemplating (and mentally composing) a post to push several fairly stable projects (e.g. 3x+1, Cels, UCT:Malaria, etc. where we're doing reasonably) plus, of course, yours, if you're agreeable.

Hum, someone else reported that a while ago...I had no trouble in finding it (but of course I don't see it now as I'm already a member), and when I go to another team page (i went via statistics, top teams, then picked a team), I can indeed see the Join button.

Ok, I went via statistics and indeed it was there. So I have joined...
perhaps the website did not recognize me as a participant because I was not signed in yet, so therefore I could not join a team... _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

I don't understand. All my machines contacted BAM and then reset and Detached. All the wu's were lost. This is not the first project that this has happened with. Unless I have BAM attach all machines this happens. _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

I don't use BAM so can't help I'm afraid. But I will check it out in case there is some config setting I could make in the project.

I went back and attached all hosts, so I am back. I just don't want to attach all hosts. some remotes I can't access easily and I just want to leave them alone. If I put a project on just one or two they detach. I have to attach all and then go to each and set them to "no new work".
It's just a hassle. I don't see why I must do it this way _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

Any word on the results, have any interesting creatures evolved? Especially ones with extremely sharp teeth and floppy ears?

That would be very cool to have a visual of some of the creatures that have evolved from your project.

On a light note....Nothing 'Killer Rabbit' like just yet, mostly it's all wet and slimy...
On a serious note...The results from the beta test showed that the majority of creatures were just parasites feeding off other creature's code in the soup. The additional instructions added for the gamma run are more promising (as I can see many more non-parasitic creatures), however thus far I've only submitted work for the initial run-cycle and therefore it's far to early to tell if anything interesting has evolved. So far I have some 1500+ WU's ready to release that have been generated from results back that completed to their alloted number of execution cycles. It's gets more interesting for me once I get successful results back that have completed 10+ run-cycles (that's a WU that has been fed back in to the system 10 times)

Go for it. There is nothing pretty that we can create. Just fearsome scary stuff. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!
