And so (regrettably) the Futuremark Team is no longer "dead ahead" of the Knights who say Ni!
We are well, ..umm.. sort of... err....b- b- behind you I guess.
Since DIRECTLY behind Sir Fart is such a wretched place to be, we will pull back further, to clear our minds, and regroup.
For a while, it would seem.
Not a really long while mind you, just until Christmas, when we'll all get new computers. Indeed..letters to Santa are being mailed as I write this. Big, long, pleading letters, with lots of tear stains. And bribes. Some Team members have also gone to Alaska, and are trying to catch a wayward Elf or two to hold him hostage for a truckload of 3.6GHz Pentium4 extreme editions. Then our production willl shoot up, yes sir!
Until that day, we will be waiting, watching, and tweaking our machines into perfection. Then the Mighty team FM will rise again to conquer and crush the wretched silly earthworms who besmirch the word "Knight" by foolishly believing they can even dream to call themselves Knights ....*ummm right...where were my meds?
It seems fair to call a truce, although I for one will miss the joy/pain of a taunt well placed. I will NOT be joining the Knights (since i've got 230K invested in FM), but will still frequent the Eternally Precocious Gorge, if ye don't mind.
BUT...
One box will occasionally be folding as FM_Pities_KWSN, to keep that in the top 100, as tribute for a battle well taunted and well fought, but not won.
And so, as hard as it is, I must say to you all...
