I leave mine on during holiday. Someone comes by the house every few days to makes sure nothing burnt down. I remote control daily to see that the network is alive, and kick any boxes that seem to have an issue.
No biggie to leave them on.

My neighbors (the other two E6400s of the 3 in my "farm") went on holiday for 10 days. They foolishly shut their PCs down this morning before going to the airport. It only took me a few minutes after getting home to notice and go turn them back on. Ahh blessed 10 days of uninterrupted dual core BOINCing!
My landlord also went on a fishing trip for 2-3 days, so the part-time P4 1.3 is now full-time again. Somehow I don't think this is what he had in mind when he said utilities were included. Oh well, we'll see if he notices when I add the Q6600 quad later this year lol.
Muahahahaha!

Nah, that's really not that big of a change. The other E6400s are almost always on, and crunching when idle, so probably 16 hours a day at least. The P4 was cut way back to 4 hrs every other day, but it's only good for 160/day or so.
