Looks like they are still having problems over here. Now they are out of work on mini and regular Collatz. They only have Solo. Good thing I am just doing Solo. Too bad all the ones since last night are pending.
They did explain they had some MySQL database issues and they are working on clearing it up.
Transitioner backlog is 12 hours!
How do we get so lucky as to pick the projects with the most issues on the particular month that we pick them? Not always, but it seems we do get plagued with it quite often. This month both projects are flaking out. Do we really have that much power?

I sure you're all aware there is only one person allowed to enter us in ALL the Boincstats team challenges. The person who is founder of the most projects.
Since these challenges are "automatic", (no individual sign up necessary), I would think we would be participating in almost all of the Boincstats.com team challenges. Last spring we were unable to mount our own challenge due to this same limitation. Perhaps by Towel Day 2014 we will be able to do this and more.

As to the upcoming Challenge, Sir John Galt 007 is the founder of KWSN in this project. I sent him a PM, but not sure if he'll see it? Can a Knight send Sir Galt a more direct request to enter us in this challenge?

The team founder is assigned by an automated process, he can't be set manually! If your team has a separate admin account then create a BAM! account for this admin as you would for a normal user (so same email and password). Include all projects but do not attach hosts to it or use any of the managing functions other than the team functions. It will not link to any stats, only to the team it is a member of and it will show as founder, so your team can participate in challenges.
Gathering/updating user information including founder status is done once a week during the night from Saturday to Sunday! Once a week because it's stressing the project servers. |
