Posted on folding forum and ... got the old, "what you doing using a little old client like that for, when we've got a brand new shiny client over here and with our wonderfull financing deal you'll be off and running in no time."
For those who are interested,
Windows GPU Systray Edition Folding@Home Client Version 6.41r2
Does not pause work when it says it does. Stanford knows about it.

Well, we have another record month and a phenomenal year!
Over 16 million points for Dec, and almost 100 million points for all of 2012!
Thanks to everyone who tossed in shrubberies for this PoTM!
Here's hoping we can do even better in 2013.
Which - by the way - is the first year since 1987 to have all four digits unique!!!!

I think there is a link between the productivity jump in July and the v7 client adoption.
I am producting about 18000 points a day but my rank is endangered, African_Swallow and Morbus are catching up. More power, quick!
Is there a Windows ARM client or Nvidia ION3 yet?
Need to find out how much the body warms up under load. _________________ Ni! Ni!

Just did a quick search...
Nvidia ION is just a code name for embedded graphics on the mobo.
ION 2 is fairly weak (for crunching) as it only has up to 16 CUDA cores.
No credible info on ION 3.
This seems similar to AMD's "APU" push, which combines CPU and GPU functionality on one chip.
ARM (afaik) is a CPU instruction-set architecture - similar to (or based on) RISC [reduced instruction set computing] chipsets.
It is different from the ubiquitous x86 chipsets, which are CISC (complex).
Microsoft would have to rewrite the lowest levels of the OS to efficiently use the new instruction set.
In theory, however, you COULD run Windows (32 or 64 bit) virtualized on ARM hardware, but the 'expense' of virtualization would defeat the purpose (speed) of ARM.
Currently, Linux and Android are much more suited to ARM.
A lengthy [albeit blathering] description of ARM can be found here:

Seems as though we're getting a raft of 807x project WUs this past week or so.
These have quicker turn-around, but lower points (3874 pts).
I have seen the occasional WU (14093 pts) come in, but not too often as before.
My own PPD has been steadily declining due to the 807x WUs.
807x seems to need extra assistance from CPU services.
Case in point:
I have 2 GTX-690s (which functionally operate like 4 GTX-680s) on my biggest rig.
When I 'finished' the CPU WU (which was running just 6/8 cores), the CPU was still averaging 26% to service the 4 simultaneous 807x requests.
Those other high-point (albiet longer running) WUs seemed to take almost nothing from CPU.
I guess we will just have to slog thru the crap WUs until the 'good' ones make their way back up in the queue at Stanford.
Good news, however, is that this seems to have slowed EVERYONE down - not just us.
So, we are still climbing-up the ranks!
