It's getting too late, gotta post this ballot. However, we should keep tweaking this list and codes for next month.
Added precision codes:
DP = Double precision card required
SP = Single and double precision
Only have listings for 2 projects?
Perhaps add OS codes like:
W = Windows
O = OSX/Apple
L = Linux
A = Android/Phone shrubbing
What is OpenCL and how does that relate to Cuda vs. ATI?
Current list:
Collatz / ATI+ CUDA
DistrRTgen / CUDA
Donate / ATI V
Folding@Home / ATI+ CUDA
GPUGrid / CUDA
Milky Way / ATI CUDA DP
Moo Wrapper/ ATI+ CUDA
POEM / OpenCL
Prime Grid / CUDA+ ATI
PPRNet / CUDA+ OpenCL V
SETI / CUDA+ OpenCL
WCG/Cancer Open CL SP V
Vacation / No GPU PotM |

I know the following because I've crunched them all on my SP:
Collatz uses either SP or DP
Moo uses either SP or DP
Poem uses either SP or DP
PPRNet uses both SP and DP (has DP only projects)
PrimeGrid uses both SP and DP (has DP only projects)
SETI uses either SP or DP
We do new projects that are sometimes flaky, how come we never do Beta projects? Like SETI Beta? |

OK check out the following list and codes for precisionality...
Adding OS codes could be a significant effort.
Collatz / ATI+ CUDA SP
DistrRTgen / CUDA
Donate / ATI V
Folding@Home / ATI+ CUDA
GPUGrid / CUDA
Milky Way / ATI CUDA DP
Moo Wrapper/ ATI+ CUDA SP
POEM / OpenCL SP
Prime Grid / CUDA+ ATI SP*
PPRNet / CUDA+ OpenCL V SP*
SETI / CUDA+ OpenCL SP
WCG/Cancer Open CL SP V
Vacation / No GPU PotM
Codes:
V = Never been shagged as PotM before.
CUDA = Runs on CUDA GPU's
ATI = Runs ATI GPU's
ATI+ CUDA = Runs both, but better on ATI
CUDA+ ATI = Runs both, but better on CUDA
DP = Double precision cards required
SP = Single or double precision cards
SP* = Single, but a sub-project may require double precision
GPU Beta projects:
SETI Beta
List more here and we'll discuss them in the next planning thread. |

If Einstein gets thrown back in, it's also SP.
I missed DistrRTgen is also SP. Looks like they added an OpenCL for ATI earlier this year. Looks like the GPU apps are pretty dead heat in speed. |
