18th place overall's not too shabby....
I'll let the stockpile run out before reorganising the server room (spare bedroom) in time for April's POTM....

I've got some re-organizing to do myself. When it looked like #9 was going to catch up I pulled a spare out of the closet and when I booted it up I realized it didn't have a hard drive in it.. Then for some reason another one wouldn't stay attached to the network. _________________

Congrats on finding a Prime, and without you we would not place as high as we did. Will you join us for the next Challenge at the end of April?

Grats to everyone that participated! And I found a prime too!
1037*2^590791+1
Which apparently made it to the Top 5000 List in Chris Caldwell's
The Largest Known Primes Database.
Good times! Now, to cleanup and get back to my normal crunching.

One cool thing about this competition is EVERY cruncher was crucial! We got 9th place by less than 200 points, so yes we need the big hitters, but if any of the little guys hadn't crunched, we'd be in 10th place...

All my pending is in, so unless we have Knights with lots of pending that is it..
We are solidly in 9th, I am not sure when they will officially grant the points. _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

Challenge points are granted automatically when you submit a result during a challenge, the BOINC points have nothing to do with the challenge points and we're 9th and will always stay 9th since no more challenge points are being given. _________________ Anyone for Crunch?

You're right!
That's very odd... as they said:
Quote: | Only work units issued AFTER 15 March 2009 18:00 UTC and received BEFORE 16 March 2009 18:00 UTC will be considered for credit. |
I have no idea why the stats are still updating... _________________ Anyone for Crunch?

You can see all the past and future challenges for 2009 here: http://www.primegrid.com/challenge/challenge.php
And yes, there is a 48 hours challenge at April, which will be nice, but the 9 days challenge of June will be awesome! I sure hope more knights will join us for June, that's why we gotta work on making PrimeGrid POTM for June... _________________ Anyone for Crunch?
