As was pointed out on the LHC@home message boards: they don't actually specify WHICH week, they just think the server will be up at the end some week in the future
Here is hoping it is indeed THIS week! Then maybe we can get some of the big boob gene searchers to come over to BOINC from that evil thing they call "folding"?

Yea, that'll happen when monkeys fly outta my butt !!!
The big boob protein is right at our fingertips, as are my pendulous, yet perky, breasts .

Isn't it funny that we all know what "perky" means when we refer to breasts even though the definition doesn't really seem to apply to breasts? _________________ Sir Latch of the Highlands

Work on the new Predictor@Home system has almost completed. To be able to take all of our data from the old system to the new one, we will shut it down for maintenance. The next time you'll be reading our forums will be on the new servers Looking forward to see you all back then! |

I'm waiting to sign up with Predictor...and waiting...and waiting. There doesn't seem to be any new news other than

A change of guard is underway: Michela, who has contributed immensely to the P@H project is now off to begin a new life on the CS faculty at UT El Paso, congratulations Michela! We have recruited David B. to takeover P@H upkeep and continued development of Predictor. David has more than 8 years experience in IT and is a great addition to the team. Welcome aboard David! Michela will continue her involvement with the aim of brining new projects relevant to biomedical research on-line with P@H.

Also they have not updated all their stuff so it does not work on v4.x and above. Which sucks since all the other projects work on v4.x and above.

So the options would be either Duchess, Devil, Demon, or mayhaps Succubus? _________________ As Bound by Blood, Tears, and Pain (other wise known as the oath of the black knight)
