Vote!

Stomp Factor
Yes, we have the return of the Stomp Factor! This Factor now has a number, a highly unreliable guesstimate of the number teams we can pass in one month. Don't purchase too many bonds based on these estimates, but they can provide a rough comparison. Legal disclaimer: If a project is low on WU's, this factor will be waaay off.

T10 / T20
This indicates KWSN has a shot at entering the Top 10 or Top 20 on a project. This doesn't mean it will happen within a month, in some cases it would take several months of concerted effort, but cracking the Top 10 or 20 could be a long term goal.

If we are going to have SIMAP we should pair it with something. Rarely does it have work for a full month.

Erectiledisfunction.com? Have you be looking at my favourites links in IE? Embarassed

Edit - SIMAPs WUs for November are 4 times bigger then Octobers but the credit/points rewarded is in line with eons i.e. not good! POEMs CPU WUs reward better.

I see the same guys who cheated at FightMalaria@home are at Oprojects now. Easy to spot as they do "more work" then everyone else combined ... a*@!holes ... #Mad

Not to disagree with your concern but is there some kind of evidence that they are cheating?

If you define, as I do, virtual cores as, well exploiting a loop-hole to put it kindly, then looky here at FightMalaria@home meassageboard thread.

The fact that they up and left when the credit system was changed says a lot.

Wouldn't be the first time someone has cheated in BOINC.

Cheating's be going on before Boinc (http://www.wired.com/science/discoveries/news/2001/02/41838) and I believe certain kaniggits have "pushed the envelope" in the dim and distant past.

The worst thing is that we now have to put up with the damned Boinc new system credits which is a load of c**p.

Pushing the envelope was a long time ago, and if my memory is still intact enough it was specifically requested to test a particular project. But we do remain above board unlike some other teams that shall remain nameless that have been caught.

PS SIMAP really is a dog project this month. Something else please! Remember to vote as often as possible, it's good for you!

Maybe SIMAP would be a good POTM as work is no problem (26 days left of this month!) and nobody's doing anything there. We could leap a lot up the leaderboard in a month of solid crunching.

2,5 hours work for 80 points though is pretty miserly ... Umm ... errr... oh damn it! We'll let the Mystery Ballot Box Stuffer TM decide ...
