The connection to KWSN has been now stable again for a bit. All because I have an ear (or two) at Global Crossings. Even though they were not the people with the issue, it was their customer on the next hop. They were nice enough to show them that they had an issue and it was repaired.
I am UOTD at Einstein for my first time (my 3rd UOTD, even though BoincStats shows me at 2, it started keeping stats after I was UOTD on SETI main).
The swap out of the Xeon 2.4G HT to the Q6600 has given me a huge boost in crunching and saving me a lot of electricity.
Congrats to EVERYONE on any of their milestones. KWSN is kicking some butt out there, let's keep it up! _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)

Keep up the good work, Sir Pooh "of very little brain" Bear, and please help yourself to a marmalade sandwich in celebration of these momentous events.

Since I did not want to open a new thread, I figured I'd just reuse this thread.
All 4 of my current machines now each have over 1M cobblestones. I am coming up on 6M overall, all this without any GPU help.
Over 3.25M in Einstein, over 1.25M on CPDN, coming up on 1M (a little over 845K) in SETI.
I have a new favorite project. SETI and Einstein are still near and dear to me, but I have moved into Primegrid. I find it fascinating that a computer of mine could find a world record.
Oh, and on 02-August-09 the wife and I celebrate 25 years of marriage.
Happy days to all, and congrats on all your milestones. _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)

Congrats Pooh Bear. I've definitely enjoyed my i7. Just watch the heat if you run it with 8 "cores". Mine was pushing 100-104C per core before I put a good heat sink on it. _________________

100C ouch, that'll kill your proc in a hurry. What were you doing to get it that hot? Overclocking on the stock cooler? lol
Mine runs 65-67C at 100% load right now (mostly QMC which I hear is mean) with an OEM cooler on it and stock clock speed (which I can't change, or I would lol). Not gonna complain too much, it's my work machine so it costs me nothing to run.
I was going to build a 920 for myself this year but money won't allow it. Can't wait for next year, aiming for 4 GHz on that 920 _________________

Yes I am digging up an old post, but figured new ones are too many as it is.
My farm is getting beefed up again. I was running the following.
C2D 2.13
C2D 2.4 (Just recently died)
C2Q 2.4
i7-920 2.67 w/GT220 (soon GT250)
i7-930 2.8 w/HD5760 (No double precision)
The computer that died is being revived and then given to my oldest brother since I owe him a computer.
I picked up a new i7-930 w/HD5670 to replace it.
Now I'll be able to do Milkyway!
No go on, nothing else to see here!

Congrats on the new rig.
I'm not familiar with a HD5680. Got a link?
