I'd like to single out JumpinJohnny and his exemplary efforts at getting
several kNI!ggts back at the Fortress here and shrubbing SETI over
at this Wow! Event! His PMs must have 'added' at LEAST a dozen,
if not more, in the upcoming challenge!

I was just thinkin' ...
Last year KWSN placed 64th in the 1st SETI-WOW event Challenge ...
This year we should do somewhat better.
If you know somebody that might help us out, please contact them and let them know we need their shrubbers and how to sign in.
I did a lil' PM campaign to the 250 highest RAC Knights in SETI
(except for the ones I always see in the Fortress here.)
Thanks to all of you, we are in a pretty good position to kick some serious butt as a team.

Must certainly instead mean: "More users are needed."
Final db reset has been done. Time to rack up some WU's and prepare for the start.
I'm doing as much as I can and suspending @ 98%.
I'll do an IP block for the 20 hour period before the challenge begins on Thursday.
With only 2 days left before the start, there are only eleven teams that put up more than 10 members:
1. SETI.Germany 138
2. The Knights Who Say Ni! 54
3. GPU Users Group 31
4. Ukraine 26
5. L'Alliance Francophone 21
6. BOINC.Italy 20
7. Planet 3DNow! 20
8. BRIGADE DU COSMOS 18

My understanding is that is what makes it a "fun" event. No Big team awards.
Virtual trophy's will be given only to The Group and Individual Productivity.

so... the Zodiac Groups are just a way to take the pressure off team competition, (Which I'll be watching with pride and high expectations), and make it a more "Friendly" contest.

I am running the PG challenge currently, but at approximately 18:00UTC on the 14th I will move back to SETI. I have my Android on SETI currently, because it was failing over at PG (I think I know why, but do not have the patience/time to fix currently).
It is nice to see the KWSN team really making a showing in this.

a lot in these past few days - I see no duplicates

OK ,, the Team list is changing... I saw myself disappear and re-appear when I opened then closed the browser. Then I spotted a duplicate the next time I logged on and found myself gone again.
At first I assumed I was going a bit LOONEY but realized that you had seen strange activity also... I mean, what are the odds that there are two of us on this particular team that are LOONEY???
I have disappeared from the list for good this time and there are two Brave Sir Ben's. |
