Can any of you tell me about how long is normal run time for these workunits. I'm running a P4 HT enabled @ 3GHz. 1.5 Gig DDR2 PC4300 crunching 2 units.
Also, is this project alot of trouble or is it stable?
Thanks! #ni-1

A few error WU on occasion, it's still officially beta but they all get credit - eventually.

Normal run time is 2.5 - 20 hours on a ~2ghz machine. Best I can do for you, the anticipated completion time is not always accurate.

It's about 9 hours or so on my Athlon 64 with the current crop of WUs. They used to be shorter (< 1 hour), but had lengthened sometime over the last couple months or so.

Not sure how this will contrast from my A64 to your comp however...

And, it's never on a Linux box (a Slackware one anyway) as it dies horrible within seconds of starting a WU.

Hmm, I think I had uFluids connected on the Linux (slamd64, or slackware for AMD 64) sometime back. I pulled units a long time back however, before the run times lengthened so much. Not sure what woulda happened then...

The first two units ran for almost 13 hours. A third one ran for almost 15.
