What did you threaten him with? The comfy chair? Hours of watching the Rosanne show? A dead parrot?

Well, threatening to pull our crunch time from their product could always have an impact... Well, not that we contribute so much to that project anyway
It's good news nonetheless... Speaking of credits, and somewhat OT, has anyone noticed that BOINCstats seems to be going down a lot lattely? When I have checked there of late, about half the times I get a message about the servers being over-loaded but try again latter... |

Pimp alert: any chance of getting more action on this project? As discussed on another thread World Community Grid is the released software that actually crunches scientific data. Rosetta (beta) and Ralph (alpha) are for software development.
We're in 134th place. C'mon, Kanigits have pride!
Any chance of having this added to Mac G's stats?

You should go to his board and ask him. He seems quite pleasant. _________________ Confucious say, "Man who lay girl on hill, not on level"

Stats here can be a little tricky. It's one that was going before Boinc so they use a different credit system on their site. They also export Boinc totals but things can get a little weird in the transition.
For example, Cubfan is by far our number 1 producer yet he is mentioned nowhere with Boinc. I'm #2 but still a few thousand points behind JavaPersona on Boinc while simultaneously being 6k ahead of him on the WCG stats.
It takes a little browsing around to figure out all the configuration but once you do everything is there and fairly straightforward. _________________ A Shrubbery for Prez. Let's put more bushes in the whitehouse.

However, is he running any BOINC clients, or the standalone only per his profile? I would imagine that only credits generated by a BOINC profile would be exported to BOINC, leaving the stand alone client stats in WCG credit scores only.
Now that said, given the troubles Ars Technica and Team AnandTech has been giving us in BOINCstats, if he'd be willing, transfering his machines to the BOINC client would sure be a help in combating them teams attempted encrouchments on our rankings |

Good news & bad: We've moved up 4 places!
But we're still in 130th spot...

It will take us some time since we have really just started at it on BOINC.

Grrr.. and here I was using the painfully slow standalone client. _________________ When in doubt, kick it until it works. |
