We call them Sand Gropers. Laughing My cousin is a Crow Eater. Confused

I don't know what's worse - Banana Bender, Sand Groper or Crow Eater.
Laughing

(Actually we usually just say "Bloody Victorians with their caravans" during holiday periods) Wink Wink

Bribie Island temporarily. I've bought a house up north so we're heading up there in a couple of days.

I've never been over to WA. Some of the rellies have been over that way when they did the 'around Australia' trip by 4WD. They did the touristy stuff - Perth, Monkey Mia, Broome etc. Lots of nice photos.

Did you get to Charters Towers? That's where we're heading. I've been through it once but can't remember it.
I know the area around Cairns pretty well, because we lived up there until I was just about to start high school. Can't wait to get back up there and show my kids all the places we used to go when I was a kid.

I re-read your earlier post and realised that I'd misread it. I knew that Western Australians are called Sand Gropers, but I'm not sure of the nickname for Victorians. I'll have to ask my mother's friend when we see her tomorrow. I think she's originally from Clayton.

What area of WA are you in, dnar?
