I am ??
Well yes I am now, but I wasn't when you posted that message!
The Shout Out isn't actually on my house, since it only let me specify the town. In fact, it has put me in an area of town I am unlikely to be in after dark...

It would be kind of neat, (?), if it would do addresses, but some people seem to be out in the boonies with their zip-codes... I wonder if I can put my zip+4 code in for more exact results.... hmmmm, I'm going to go see....
Also, you can click on the map and move it to center it better. I was having a problem with the world map until I figured that one out... just a little slow today.... _________________ Confucious say, "Man who lay girl on hill, not on level"

My marker is somewhat SE from my actual location (and the compost heap at the center of the universe, but that's another story).
Is it possible to swap images? I didn't think it would accept animations, so I didn't use my avatar (and I now I see that I can).

What would be really cool would be to be able to locate your house and THEN add it as your location. It would require being able to get your coordinates returned as latitude and longitude and then using that as the basis for location. _________________ trane

Try to go in again with another image. if it doubles you, I'll delete you and then you can rejoin with your image of choice

Shoot, I did that here once, put my Long and Lat, and sort of freaked out that someone took my coordinates and figured out where I lived... you know, stalkers and that kind of weird stuff that crosses one's mind, so I removed that more detailed information, not that anyone here would do such a thing....but it sort of creeped me out, so perhaps that's why they don't do that.... _________________ Confucious say, "Man who lay girl on hill, not on level"

I'm in !!!
Although I notice that my balloon thingy seems to be touching other people's balloon thingies. This will not do . Will any Kannigits balloon that's touching mine kindly move and thus adjust their zip code. I know this means finding a new house, job and a new school for the rugrats, but I don't think it's too much to ask .

Zoom in a little bit and you'll find that you indeed have a large area where no one is around. _________________ When in doubt, kick it until it works. |

You could use some needless needle to pop the balloon thingy

My balloon thingy is surprisingly accurate. It is pointing to the cardboard box that I sleep in, right next to my Compaq 850 server with 8-way XEON processors. I am in a top-secret cardboard bunker located in a ravine that is only accessible by foot or horse. I need to bang coconuts together to get home. _________________ One who takes snippets of reality and weaves them into his own imaginary world. |

You can refine your position by clicking on Edit Location in the Add Yourself box at the bottom. Also change your picture etc. etc.
I like it
