Could someone please take a look at my stats and toss me some ideas as to why my production seems to be down so much the past two or three days? I generally have a slow day here or there but not back to back like this! I appreciate anyones advice or insight.... or if you think I should see what happens in another day or two thats fine too
Also, is there a way to see what processor is sending in what info? Or to see what info is being sent in by what processor? I know you can in BOINC is there a way in F@H?

My guess is that you are currently chomping some of the big (240 point) proteins and that your production will spike upwards.
Stanford don't publish per-processor results stats (although I understand their database does have this information available as part of the anti-cheat checking). You can just check your fahlog.txt file for details of the last WU or two, or there are some third party tools that will monitor performance at your end (EMIII, FAHLogStats, qd, etc.)
Take a look at the Folding Support Site Third Party Contributions forum for more details.

Hmm, I was wondering if you were up to something. Like saving up WU's to pass me by in one big leap.
Well, the other thing that comes to mind is wether if you have fiddling with the userid setting in the registry.
I had the same mishap because of this last week. Moved WU's over from a offline-pc to another with connection (together with the userid's), and I ended up with multiple pc's having the same userid. Points get lost then appearantly.
Sir Baldyhead had the same problem some time ago.
Edit: just noticed your stats. You turned in 3 of those big tinkers that can take days to complete. Seems that was indeed your problem.

Is that a typically Dutch thing to do then?

541 points for 3 WU at the 3am update - looks to me like 2 big WU (Tinkers) and one small one (Gromacs?)

I must protest against this.
We mix up userids, you vote Bush for president. Every nation has its own shortcomings.

OR, it could be 3 medium sized ones.
There ya go, you didn't think of that, now did you Sir SmartyPants?

There is no fight. He won't pass me.
He's been harassing me on a daily basis ()with pm's with poorly written tauntings.
Offcourse they stopped when his production started to fall below mine. Typical. _________________ Save the rainforest! Eat more woodpeckers! |

Never voted for Bush, because I don't live in tha US and I'm not a US citizen.
Overigens, heb ik omhoog mijn identiteiten gemengd, maar ik ben niet van Nederland
(and I know my Dutch is shocking and awful, or is that full of shock and awe? )

I understood what you meant after I translated it back to english the babelfish way.
Don't we all have mixed up identities here?

BUT..

Well, I can't allways be right.

I too am dealing with point issues.
Five weeks ago I was averaging 1800+ points per day and now I'm below 1200 and falling.
This is after adding another P4 1.7ghz to the farm.
I've been getting assorted Gromac units regularly. One tinker per every 20 gromacs on average.
Something other than Sir Fart is amiss. _________________ "There ain't no freekin' Indians around here..."

Unless points aren't getting credited. (Has 4 WU that hasn't gotten anything yet)
[Edit] They weren't credited cuz of a duplication situation. [/Edit] _________________ When in doubt, kick it until it works. |
