I'm running Gates ME, & somewhere there is a control to adjust the priority given to each programme, Now where was it?

Thanks in advance to all you computer wizards, I know you will have the answer.

You might check out a utility called TaskInfo2000 (except now it's called TaskInfo2003) available here: http://www.iarsn.com/

This will let you manually set priorities, and is useful program for tuning your computer.

Yes it is, unfortunately, the 2003 version is cripleware and will not continue to work after the trial period.

The 2000 version does not suffer from this, and has most of the same capability.

Thanks! Packrats are very important. I had forgotten about this fine program, but thought I still had it in one of my folders. Upon further review, I discovered that it was installed on my oldest Dually but could not find the download anywhere Embarassed
