In a close tie-breaker vote, our champion Distributed Data Mining won the CPU Project of the Month for July. Please make shrubberatory investments to maintain our lead in this project. We are currently # 7 in RAC and one large team out crunched us by almost a million last month. Only two Knights are active at the moment.

Work Units:
Laryngeal Video Classification 148,752.
Stock Price Prediction OSW 1,062.
Multi-Agent Simulation of Evolution 0

Starting stats:
First place Cool
48,311,757. Total points
9,509. Average daily points
8,300. RAC 7th place

HA HA! Poor ol' Mildew (or Glen as some call him) thought it was all nice an' quiet there. Now the rampaging loonies (or tjocka släkten as we say in these parts) have arrived.

Here's the url to attach, took me a while to find it...
http://www.distributeddatamining.org/DistributedDataMining

Remember this project needs Java. Oracle no longer supports Version 7; they recommend Version 8 update 45 4/14/15.
Probably time to update - make sure old versions are deleted.

So what's with the Larry Neagle Video? Is this some kind of porno-bot site? Smile

If you're having a problem connecting with their servers, I think they're in Germany which means if you're in the US, the signal has to go via the NSA, The Department of Homeland Security, CIA, FBI, JSOC, etc etc before it comes to you.
The Department of Homeland Security, "Building a Culture of Preparedness" (?!)

Eleven Knights are now shrubbing DDM including two newbies. Production is up to 23K - 33K the last few days, which is about double or triple the initial rate. KWSN is out-crunching everyone except for one guy on [H]ard|OCP Embarassed but they are about 47 million behind us. Razz Now if we can get Housekeeper of Camelot back on this project for the next few weeks? Or maybe the Polygonal PantalooNi? Ni!

'Stones that have been mined:
mildew 1,300,000
Plomos 70,000
sir spuddly buddly 1,000
PimpInTheBox 1,000 Razz

Since Bitcoin has changed, I dropped Shrubbing that on the PowerEdge - So DDM will get a healthy S-O-S from that PC (Share-O-Shrubbin')

See third post above. Make sure you get the latest version of java for compatibility/security. After installation delete any old versions of java that might be left.

I found that Bitcoin was using a ton of my isp data i guess because it finishes the units so fast and downloads more that it was hitting it all day so i have dropped it for now and will run DDM straight.
