Seeing as it's about to become a thing, is anyone using a release candidate now? Wondering on how compatible it is with the various boinc projects. |

Running BOINC on build 10130 now (started with a fresh install with an iso of build 9926) with a spare machine with a Pentium Dual E2180 and an AMD HD 5450.
As I am participating in the Windows Insider program I used the fast ring on build updates which is running fine even with an installed and running BOINC so far .....
Cheers

I will most likely leave my Win7 machines as is. The one Win 8 machine I do have I probably will update. W10 has to be better, doesn't it? I've read a lot of good things about it. I like that Win7 doesn't force you into MSLive like Win8 did, and Win10 will, and is one of the main reasons my Win7 boxes will remain as is. Plus I do not plan on any touch screens on my current boxes, etc. So I do not need that touchy feely interface. |
