VOTE!
I just noticed Bitcoin Utopia is our # 1 Project by far Shocked so added it to the ballot. Don't know what the "codes" are...

Codes:
V = First time as PotM.
CUDA = Runs on CUDA GPU's
ATI = Runs ATI GPU's
ATI+ CUDA = Runs both, but better on ATI
CUDA+ ATI = Runs both, but better on CUDA
OpenCL = Much better on ATI
DP = Double precision cards required
SP = Single or double precision cards
SP* = Single, but a sub-project may require double precision

Ooooops, why is SETI on the ballot twice? Embarassed I think 'cuz I posted this thread, then added Bitcoin Utopia, but somehow dropped PPRNet in the editing process. Damn, here come Der International Election Interrogators with their appalling comfy chairs which have been denounced by Knights Rights organizations world wide! #evil

The Massive Credits generated on bitcoin utopia seem to be generated by mining with ASICs.
I'm aware there are CPU and GPU WU's at bitcoin... but does this extra ASICs hardware used by all the Instant Credit Billionaires, still qualify it as a GPU project?

I run it on GPU and get good credit--so yes.

Yesterday i ran it on cpu and gpu and made nearly 400,000 credits without even running it all day, so yes it pays well

Thx for supporting it. Please crunch Project #3. It supports the Milkyway project

BTW ... Poem has basically no GPU work, (or extremely sporadicat best), as there was "a potential bug" detected in August.
Still no word on new GPU application fix or increased availability. If POEM is voted GPU P.o.t.M., there should be a very necessary backup.

Quote:
I've been looking forward to announce new GPU jobs for the last two weeks, but unfortunately we've detected a random calculation error during our local test phase.
We are now checking the new code for bugs.
I don't know how long it will take, so I have to postpone the announcement.

The number of collective_move_set jobs won't be increased, because the data of the currently running jobs will suffice.

We still can't run arbitrary simulations on GPUs, because we don't have OpenCL implementations for all of our forcefields, that's why CPU jobs outnumber GPU jobs at the moment.

Knowing this info now, I would not have voted for Poem TBH. It would make more sense to revisit the project when it is fully operational, for obvious reasons, in my opinion.
