Hey Mr Wabbit.

I'm hot on your fluffy white tail and think its time to tanut you Wink

Advance warning that I am going to overtake you on total credits in 60 days. So that is on 1st August 2011 I will have passed you by a small margin of literally a few credits. Very Happy

The caveat is that neither of us moves over to a GPU system. If either of us do put a GPU in, then the Tanut is off because it would'nt be CPU versus CPU.

If you upgrade your CPU then it is probable that you will stay ahead of me to the deadline. In which case I will catch you a bit later instead Very Happy

Poor Wabbit. Is that the same machine from 2003-2004? That machine was a hair slower than my recently retired P4 3.4 Ghz machine.

Ni!

It maybe at that.

In many way's Mr Wabbit and I are very similar Wink

However I started with Seti@Home on April 5th 2002 at 02:56 in the morning. This means that it has taken me over 9 years to gain the credits I currently hold.

As you can see from my Sig I am a good 360k at least behind Mr Wabbit. So maybe, just maybe he will decide to put a new CPU into his puter to stave off my attack Very Happy

This computer is from about 05 or 06. But still old. Not much I can do about taunts, except bite you reall HARD!.

Though I might have to get shots after biting you.

Hopefully your computer does not come down with a case of deadly African computer syphillis.

Lol. I get bitten hard quite often by my bees Hee Hee

It usually takes about 4-5 days for the venom to wear off and for my fingers to return to normal. I just hate it when my little ladies do that because they die afterwards which makes me real sad Sad

Currently got about 240,000 thousand in my garden and hoping to have about 480,000 by the end of the year.

Been suffering with the deadly African computer syphillis for over 3 years and think I may have cured it at last Very Happy

Who knows. Maybe I'll bring the old gal back online and let it shrub for us. At least it will be dedicated and not my front line machine.

Starting up as a commercial bee keeper so that one of my Nephews can have a decent job.

He suffers with ADHT and isn't able to hold down a normal job. Ideally he needs to be in an active role outside where he can grow as a person and not end up as a criminal. Sadly the fate of many who suffer with this condition.

It may sound like a lot of bees. However it is only 3 hives. Doubling this year will make it 6. Within the next 2 years need to have at least 100 production hives so that I can both teach and pay my nephew a wage.

I keep hearing in the news about all those bees just disappearing or dying. Has that affected you or your prices?

Not been affected as yet with bees deserting any of my colonies.

As for prices honey produced in the UK comes at a premium due to the short season. Realistically we normally only have about 1-2 months when hives are strong enough to bring in honey. The rest of the year is devoted to managing them so that they will be strong enough. So per production hive we look to yield about 120 lbs. Per ton that is about 25 production hives for about £7,000. So to make a living out of beekeeping in the UK you need at least 250 production hives which equals about 10 tons or about 20 mill bees Very Happy

Current pricing is about £4.00 for 12 ounces. Thats about $6.00

CCD or (Colony Collapse Disorder) is a completely unknown factor. Trouble is that no one knows what is actually happening or why the bees desert a hive.

Hopefully one of the current studies will give some insight fairly soon.

Ouch, I buy clover honey at a warehouse club at $7.49 for 3 pounds. I especially love orange blossom honey. Have you ever had buckwheat honey on buckwheat pancakes? Mm.

What you need are more hives, but the good kind of hives.
