Although I'm not particulairy proud of this event, 2 Graphic cards ATI s HD 5870's, did this job in about 2 years, of which, 1.5 year
running on a HD5770 & HD4850(the latter died)!
But if you ever ran Collatz C. or M.W., DNETC(gone ,I think?!) on CPU, you know how long they take and ATI cards, minimum is 4830, probably runs also on a 2600, still faster then the 'average CPU.
And a search for particular numbers, is, IMHO, far easier and better
translated/ported from CPU to GPU core, compaired to SETI, Einstein.
Easy gained, compaired to a lot of other scientific projects on B.O.I.N.C.
Which is also gettin mature, after countless changes and improvements, or
just fixing what has to be fixed   
But I'm happier with the (almost) 50 Thousend Recent Average Credit!  at S.E.T.I. @ home
