I've come to like the Cooler Master HAF912 case a lot, roomy, great airflow and reasonable price, reg. $70, ~$50 on sale.
|
I just checked the video card theory and that was a bust. For the rebuild I'll use the same case. It's a Antec 900 gaming case. Lots of room and lots of fans helps keeps things nice and cool. |
I have the Antec 900, I love it. But if you don't have an air compressor you may want to buy one. It collects dust like you won't believe...
I really should clean mine at least once a month, but I get to it quarterly, and it makes a large black cloud of dust.
A nailer compressor should do the trick _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

Good idea. I'll have to drag mine out. |

Air compressors can make static electricity, might not be a good idea
I can get about 3655 Mhz and stay stable on primegrid llr s.
It collects dust like crazy as well. _________________

T-Minus less than 2 hours.
Looks like I has a bad bit of luck during the heavy usage times. I need to adjust my boxes were I turn on report immediately and grab days worth of work instead of trusting the stability of the site.
Oh well, good going Gemjunkie for beating me!
I think I may still make the top 100. _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)

Thanks. My first PG Challenge, PSP llr, was tough on the hardware with a number of WU's erroring out. This one was tough on the operator, requiring much babysitting to manually update, upload and download. Half the time I'd get 'Communication failed, server may be temporarily down'.
I hibernated a shrubber last night to move it and after resuming it would hibernate on it's own every 3-20 minutes.
Looks like I hit 2 primes, waiting to see if I'm finder or double-checker.

This is a consequence of increased participation in the challenges. You used to be able to pretty much start the challenge and let it go on the fast WU challenges. _________________

All PPS caches empty, all available shrubbers back on Rosetta.

Good job everybody! As for me, I had my usual performance... many WUs and still no primes. _________________

No primes here either, just a matter of time before you get one. _________________

Primes are tricky fellows who do not want to be found.

I've had two this week
Congratulations! Our records indicate that a computer registered by you has
found a unique prime number. This computer is running BOINC, is attached to
the PrimeGrid project, and is assigned to the Proth Prime Search. What makes
this prime unique is that it's large enough to enter the Top 5000 List in Chris Caldwell's
The Largest Known Primes Database.
Since you have auto-reporting selected, the following prime was submitted on your
behalf:
Added 98158 : 7605*2^633345+1 (190660 digits)
and
Added 98086 : 4029*2^628561+1 (189220 digits) _________________

Way to go Hal and Adam and all other Prime finders! This challenge wasn't a total loss, after the dust settled (validator caught up), I turned in another double-checker. At least it's something... _________________
