Sorry, I'm old fashioned. Merry Christmas to all! Even people who are not "Christians" can enjoy the holiday can't they? (PC has gone to far) _________________

Did any Kanigits receive new shrubbers, video cards, or other hardware suitable for shrubbing for Christmahanakwanzika? |

Anyone have any idea how fast these munch up WU's.
If they are faster than the GTX470's then I might consider buying a few of them for my new shrubber
When I say few I mean max 4 Lol _________________ What is that in the Shrubbery?

pps sieve 17:05 - 17:45
I think Hal said ~6:30 for his 470, but which is faster depends on the project. 5870 can complete a Milkyway WU in ~1:40.

It seems like ati is faster in most projects, in milkyway and collatz the ati cards tend to do better then their nvidia market conterparts. In primegrid cuda is faster then opencl. The other projects are using steam apps more then opencl apps for now. Opencl is still new though, it will get faster in time. _________________

I did buy a new toy:
I7-930
12G memory
HD5770
This replaced the following:
MAC Mini
Core 2 Laptop
It was an outlet sale unit and for the price I could not have done better. |
