Scary- I am founder of one team.. I figured I better change my email address to my current email. I've changed about a dozen projects, I hope it doesn't screw up my stats for everything... _________________

Another reason to make sure that the Team Founders are active members.....
Perhaps we should see if a Team committee can manage these things..
We could call it the Ittie Bittie T.... I mean the Founder Committee.... _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

As long as the founder is active, and has a valid email, I see no problems...
It is probably a spammer that did it, as they are not attached to any other projects... |
However, the problem comes when your qualifiers are not met, as happened at the time of the start of this thread....
If the founder is not active and/or does not answer his E-mail then we are screwed.... _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

Well...is there any other projects where this can happen? I initiated a transfer at Spinhenge, as it seems that Atomic Booty is MIA, so in another month that project should be under an active's control...
I had initiated a transfer at QMC last Dec. when it was POTM, and the founder blocked me, but did put me in as an admin. He had not crunched in a bit, but did for the POTM.... _________________

I read something on one of the info pages (I can't find it again ), you should use a team admin account, get it an email address and give access to small group of members.
I'm trying to find those instructions again.

I went thru the projects I am on and I sent 5 change requests. One was a team that Ohio Mike is founder of, I cant remember which. He is no longer active, not a single shrub or post anywhere since February. For all I know he is Dead. This is the problem. Just where the Hell is Sir Furry Mark? Ohio Mike? Toby? Major Kong?
I could go on. No insult or ill wishes to Wabbit but what if He disappears too? He is founder of I don't know how many of our projects...
If I get the foundership of the teams that I sent for, What if I drop dead? How long until anyone here knows, Will you EVER know?
This is a serious problem. We are a Team, the Team should have contingency plans for project management in the event of realistically probable circumstances that don't include jumping up and down shouting "Somebody Help Us" _________________ a.k.a. If I ever decide to leave I would transfer my foundership to another active Knight.
Also I periodically check certain projects to see if it is wise to request foundership. I did recently on one. I also check mine as well.
I do know that some projects do not allow changing of the founder.
