				| By a vote of 7 (Spinhenge) to 5 (Prime Sierpinski Problem) with 4 other projects receiving 1 vote (+1 for Vacation), the Project Of The Month for December 2010 is Spinhenge.
I can't find a concise statement on what the Spinhenge project does, but it appears to be analyzing magnetism at the molecular level.

 http://spin.fh-bielefeld.de/

 Starting stats:
 12th Place
 15,403,587 Points
 19,930 RAC
 24,576 Points yesterday.

(I called this election a little early mainly to induce paranoia and riots amongst the electorate, but also because I'm leaving on a week vacation tomorrow w/o computer access.)

				| Wow, that's really calling it early!

LanDroid's in a panic to get out of town so he doesn't have to buy candy for the trick or treaters.

Spinhenge's good for me, I could use some time to prepare for the PSP command line client and when the Q9550 shrubber finishes it's queued WU's it will undergo transplant surgery to get a new MB and case.

				| No ATI/Cude application so I guess it's back to Colltaz for those guys...
Liked the fact it has a 64bit client and the fact that this month's votes were rigged once again

				| KWSN crunched 73.3K yesterday for 2nd place and we're in 6th place as far as RAC, so looks like the coconuts are clopping along pretty well in this project...
 Milestones:
John Galt 007 reached 4th place in total production yesterday.
 Woelki passed 300,000
 John Galt 007 passes 50,000
 ohiomike passes 40,000
 Adam Alexander passes 20,000
 Gemjunkie passed 10,000
 Yankton passes 10,000
 SpineyNorman passes 10,000
 Queezy passed 4,000
 LanDroid passes 3,000

KWSN-Housekeeper of Camelot dominates our overall production with over 9.6 million points, 3/4 of our total...

				| I dug deeper and found out why there are few details on exactly what Spinhenge is doing with all this nano-magnetism research. It is actually VERY good news:
Spinhenge is designing The Ultimate Chick Magnet!

I'm sure all Kanigits will fully support this worthy project by throwing ALL available hardware at it!

So now you all know why I crunch that stuff ....... or was it because of all that nano PGGB stuff?

Cheers and keep the wu's coming!

				| Woo Hoo! I made it to 50,000! It's unlikely I'll get all the way to 100K, but may reach 75K before month's end. _________________

I just installed Ubuntu 10.04LTS-64 on my Q9550 shrubber. BOINC runs fine but only Aqua and Eon will provide work. Spinhenge says:
"Message from server: platform 'x86_64-pc-linux-gnu' not found"

 PrimeGrid says:
"Message from server: [name of sub-project]_ ("is not available for your type of computer")

 Am I doing something wrong?

Hey Idan, did you notice I got my new PhenomII x6 running?

Is there a team consensus on switching to either of this month's challenges?
 Primegrid 17th-18th
 WCG 16th-22nd
