the Prime Sierpinski Problem runs under PrimeGrid on Boinc. If I'm looking at the right site (http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=2665) they even suggest using the boinc client..so why is it listed as non-boinc?

*and yes, you can set which projects you want primegrid to run on under their preferences

You can run it in primegrid and get points for us in primegrid OR you can run it on it's own and get points for us in whichever non-boinc project you attach it to. Kinda like yoyo.

Is that the same sub-project that was used in the Calendula Challenge? Those are tough WU's.

Same, but different...

It is like running the PRPNet to get PSA points at PG. Best part about it is that it is worth 357 Vault points per position, and we could jump 2 positions in a month. #ni-1

I would have suggested GIMPS, but those WUs take months to complete, even running 24/7.... Shocked

I have 2 GIMPS at @60% and they won't be done till middle of next month, 1 will complete end of next month, and 1 in December.... Shocked Shocked

My Q9550 had an alarming number of lost WU's due to 'computational errors' during the challenge, so Spinhenge is much more appealing, but perhaps I'll try it on my Q9400, it was stable during the challenge. It should finish 4 Seventeen or bust WU's in ~5 days.

No, sorry I meant about 5 days left, figuring in a couple of hours downtime every day, they're in progress ~60-65% done with 103-113hrs left according to the manager. These are my first, looks like 300-310hrs. total run-time @2.66GHz.

What type do you run to get 21 days...I have my prefs set for whatever the server thinks I should do and have been getting the LL WUs....the factoring goes quick, but the primality test takes forever...
