Without boinc my 5850 can do 1.7 bil, but if I open expand my firefox window it drops fast. Right now I have a average of 61m on cpu and 1.3 bil on gpu. I'll have to mess with process priority to see ifI can keep it at 1.7 bil for a longer time. _________________

Soooo, Prime Gridders, the Calendula Challenge ends later today - does that mean RC5-72 will see a massive production increase shortly?

I doubt it, the challenge used CPUs and the big numbers in RC5-72 come from GPUs. _________________

Since FFXIV does not like running on my ati too well(getting rendering errors) its back to my slower gtx470 down to 1/5 of the other card. Unless someone knows of a way to get both control panels to be happy with each other. The ati client opens the cpu client instead with both installed. With both running it would be over 2.2 bil keys a second. _________________

10th in daily production the other day. We can do better. On another note we should pass a couple of teams soon as well.

5th overall in yesterdays production. Also gained a couple more spots, averging about 200K a day. We might solve this key before we hit 1.1%, which we are about to hit that mark after 2,000 days.

Wow 117th place and 270K crunched yesterday. Yes KR, keep this up for another couple of weeks and KWSN is going to win it this month! |

Weather is finally cool enough to let a machine or 2 run. I setup a Q6600 box running 3 cores of std and 1 core of GPU (NVidia 8800 GTX).
What a pain it is to setup a cuda task on Arch Linux! We'll see what it does. _________________

I was hoping we could crack the top 100 this month, and by the looks of it, we'll smash right in there! Good job everyone! _________________

I say we find this silly key and then celebrate in high fashion. Also how dare the Kows outproduce us on a daily basis totally unacceptable.
