Currently in the ISS is Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi.
And you know what Japanese people do when they go on holidays?
Yes! They bring their cameras. Smile

Here are his pictures of world cities and landmarks seen from space:

I wonder where they hid Sloppy Joe's on this Key West picture.

Hehe, I was trying to imply that Queens isn't the "real" New York, in case that was a sensitive issue over there. Wink

I guess that taunt was a big fail... Rolling Eyes

Sorry I thought you did not realize (just like our mayor) that NYC is comprised of more than the borough of Manhattan. The outer boroughs (Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and Staten Island all refer to Manhattan as "the city", as in "I'm going in to the city". Not sure how it started, it's always been that way.

Anyway now you have seen pictures of my neighborhood.

Not much different here or anywhere else. Eastern Washington refers to 3/4 of the state to people living in Pugetropolis. As far as people not living in Seattle are concerned, it's all Seattle. If you can't see open space between cities or don't realize that you left one city and entered another, it's the same city.

Reminds me of a discussion I was having with my mother-in-law. She was showing me a picture of "Eastern Washington" and I said, no, that's north central Washington, that other picture is south eastern, and this one is south central. Can't you see the difference? Lost cause at best, I say.
