We would never do that!!!
We might hack into your account and change your team when you aren't looking though |
One of the Mods should change him from "Prince" to "Traitor" however.

I checked, I can't set my own title so someone else will have to do it.
Oh, and here's some lovely salt for your wounds.

What is the abbreviation for Project Of The 19 1/2 days?
What happened to everybody?

Say, does QMC need 32bit libraries on Linux? A few days ago, I updated to the latest version of Xubuntu and I started to get errors on my QMC WUs. Maybe I lost the libraries in the upgrade. Do you think I need to download stuff again? I didn't mess with it at the time since I transitioned into PG, but now that I will be moving back to QMC I just want to be ready. _________________

Linux 32 bit needed, including at least one obs: libstdc++.so.5.
If you have that problem, it is fixed with:
yum install compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-61.i386 _________________

You can use a Linux 64, but the executables are 32-bit. What you'll need to do is make sure that yes the 32-bit libraries are in there, and whatever options for backward compatibility are installed/compiled in.
I used to run Slamd64 many years ago (back when Intel didn't have AMD 64s, it was basically a variant of slackware for AMD 64s), and got BOINC to run fine. When compiling a newer kernel, the trick was also to make sure you compiled the 32-bit backward compatible stuff in there, into your 64-bit kernel compile. It's been many years ago (we're talking probably 4 or so) so the exact things to tick I wouldn't remember, but it was doable. There should be something about 32-bit or backward compatibility which can be selected, so the 64-bit Linux install will support older 32-bit progs. _________________

Final stats (a bit late):
33rd Place + 11
8,748,441 Points + 3,214,439
A VERY productive month - this should have gained us almost 59 DC Vault points... |
