Have to wait to see if all of the work validates, as it says in the rules before the final standings will be figured out. Since the give the credits immediately but take away for invalid credits, things can still change.
I missed one unit by approximately 22 minutes. Damn file sat at 55:11 for nearly 30 minutes otherwise it would have finished on time. _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)

The LLR WU is really short. This will be a quick and nasty fight in early October. Even I will be able to participate.

Quote: | PPS LLR are fairly short -- time to complete depends on type of computer --Duo cores & quads take 5 to 10 minutes per core -- Pentium 4's with Hyper thread 15 to 30 minutes-- single core P4's are same as duo cores. A P3 will take about 2.5 hours
There are 2 different length of WU's as we are working on 2 different ranges at the same time but the times above pretty much cover them both.

Here is how the clean up process will work according to the PrimeGrid people. Currently 1079 WU's are outstanding from the Challenge,
# 06 September 2009 18:00 UTC, the first round of "clean up" will be complete as last of the Challenge WU's will expire
# 20 September 2009 18:00 UTC, the second round of "clean up" will complete
# 02 October 2009 18:00 UTC, Harvest Festival Challenge _________________

I have a question and hope that those of you who have crunched PrimeGrid answer.
Has anyone on our team found a Prime? I guess there would be ways to search this, but I am wondering if we have anyone who wants to pipe up about their fine? _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)

I have found several primes, only made the top 5000 list once, only one prime I am the primary founder the others are all double checks.
You can find if you have found primes on your account page towards the bottom where the split it up by subprojects and it shows how many workunits you have completed and primes you have found. The chances of finding a Prime are low. In Proth Prime Search the odds are about 1 in 4000 and the odds get worse in the Woodell and Cullen WUs. So check out your account page and see if you have any primes.

I have an updated question.
Has anyone on our team found a Record Prime?
I know I have found:
AP26:
Found of length 20 6
321 Prime (Sieve)
Factors found 15
But I am not sure I understand what those exactly mean. They are not able to be clicked like the tasks that say "Primes Found". So, what have I found? What significance are the items I found? I seem to not understand the very technical message boards there.
I hope the Looneys have at least found one record. _________________ Watch the movie about me The 4-1-4s: The Original Teenage Hackers (It is only about 12 minutes long.)

Because we are tied with those monsters, those people who can out shrub us and claim to be a family. We must defeat them in battle.

The Dentery all "Primed" and running (except the m/c whose PSU went "bang" 2 mins after I'd set it up. - that's PSU fail #5 in the last 3 months, serves me right for buying cheapies; I think I may have a small spare laying around, so I'll have to take the GPU out for now).
See you in 24 hours.
