1 grade better than my 6 month old set.http://www.mushkin.com/doc/products/memory_detail.asp?id=556
Cost about $60 USD each a year and a half ago. Nice or so I thought. The motherboard on my vista machine runs them at 200MHZ!!! X2 that means half speed. Correct? It does show 1T command rate memory timings all my other similar systems run 2T command rate timings. No settings to overide in the BIOS of this Acer with a Foxcom 6100 430 chipset. Now I have to buy Vista to reload with a new board.
I will never buy a prebuilt computer again
I wanted a new computer. I was going to build it myself. For what it cost to build I got a 19" LCD, Windows Vista and a printer/scanner/copier(which I will certainly never use) at NO CHARGE. Spent the extra on an 8500Gt video and a SB Xfi Gamer cards.
Now I am stuck and have to build another $1000 Vista 64 PC to keep up with the other two $500.00 boxes I built. And then having to transfer all the data and sell the Acer. Tisk Tisk Tisk. Was good in the shortrun but painfull in the end. Woops.
Did almost forgot why I posted. duh That loss of short term memory is a killer. What is the easiest way to post CPU-Z results? I see other webpages like sysdoc.pair.com use them. HTML leaves me at sort of a loss. I started to learn how to make webpages but I got lost in gaming online instead.
If I could see other results from AMD board and memory configurations I can see if my results are the same or worse. The results may affect the urgency of my 10's of 100's dollar purchase on another machine. Quote: | I am not getting bigger but the room seems alot smaller-A Clild's Garden of Grass |
